H23/ H22 and ECU

I am looking at replacing my H23 with a H22. I have found the H22 long block for only 1200.00. I have found the engine and ECU for $1800.00. My question is, on the average, how much will an ECU cost me if buy separate? Do they really run $600.00?
What ECU comes with the H23? What ECU will I need for the H22?
I know those to question has been answered many times before, sorry.

600 is too much for p13.... i hear you can get your ecu reprogrammed and get the speed governer taken off, or go with one of those aftermarket chips, they cost about 20 bucks on ebay, don't know how reliable they are. i don't know how much the reprogramming runs either. Ask Sub[EX] he had his reprogrammed.

I think you can get a p13 for 150 from Hmotorsonline. Dude im gona put this site in my sig so i dont have to write it out anymore. haha. I got mine from a PO member already chipped. i paid 215$. You can run your SI ecu for a little bit but i wouldnt do it long. There are alot of other add on's that kill that speed govener.

SUBEX- what do you feel is the best add on with a VAFC on a P-13 ECU.

Also I might be willing to part with my P-13 for alot less than 300 bones for neone who is interested pm if interested (sorry mods)
