H23 Going Bye Bye Next Year

My buddy just told me that he has hookups on JDM H22s. He will get me an H22 complete minus tranny for 1k. With the install, it will cost a little under 2k. I added up the cost to build the H23, and I decided to go with the H22. I am going to save $200/month for 10 months, and then kiss the H23 good bye. I can't wait to join the Vtec club. I am also going to see if he can hook me up with an LSD tranny.

I am not an install guy. I rather spend the cash, and have my buddy install and tune it right. I helped my friend drop an engine in his AE86, and it was a pain. I am sure that I can get it dropped in for cheaper than 1k. In any case, 1k for the engine, ecu, and harness is a good deal.

I am going to use my ACT street/ strip clutch that I have on now, and I will purchase a lightened flywheel before I do the install. I am going to smog the car in November, so it is a good time to do a swap. Are Greddy headers CARB legal?
