Just advance your timing and use an s-afc on the dyno.
How far Satan? (probly figure that out on the dyno, but what about butt dyno tunning?) I have a gtech also, maybe I could use the dyno function? (yeah, right )
I don't know if you guys saw it or not, but Honda Tuning had a BIG feature of Erick Aguilar and his Honda that runs nines (article is titled "To the Nines," or something like that). He has a shop and the knowledge to be able to PROPERLY reprogram Honda ECUs to actually HELP your performance. I don't know how much he charges, and he's gone a lot due to his involvement in the racing season w/ his own car, but he has the capability of doing this. The code is improperly deciphered & altered by most chip-altering monkeys b/c they don't even have the right software & hardware to get into the Honda coding language. Honda uses hexadecimal coding, not binary coding. Erick went through quite a lengthy schooling to get the knowledge to be able to do this stuff. Most chips out there don't do anything for power improvements. I'll try to dig up the magazine to get the name of his shop, the number & address, etc.

I have my ignition timing advanced by 2 degrees (stock is 15, and spec is + or - 2)... so I have it at 17, which is advanced for better performance, but still withing spec.

When you mess around w/ your timing, though, aren't you essentially gaining in one end of the spectrum, while suffering in the other end? I'm learning more about timing as the days go on, but basically, isn't it just a sacrifice?
