Not really, I get the usual down pipe scrappage but that is going to be true with any after market header-exhaust connection. But yea im a satisfied owner.

Definitely a fan of the DC sports cc header. It definitely improved high end performance.

I have a DC Stainless header...seems cool to me, considering the options us H23 owners have. I dont know about u guys, but your header have a rattling sound now and then?? I mean, i have checked and checked and i know that theres nothing loose nor missing. I was told by a friend that it was normal. Just wanted to get some more opinions. O, it kinds sounds like the DC gaskets are loose where the top piece connects to the downpipe (2 gaskets).

If you go DC make sure you get stainless. My ceramic are really rusted.

If it only rattles from rest to acceleration, check the bracket that connects the midpipe - that might be cracked

How long have you had your DC headers? The tuning shop that installed the 4-2-1 Ceramic Coated headers on my lude told me that stainless will turn brown over time, but CC headers will stay the same.

It's been only two months that I did I/H/E and am pretty happy. My lude gained 14WHP.

I've had my CC header for about 10 months now, and I have seen some of the new shiny go away, but there is no rust or markings, they have held up very well for me.

They're better than the other options out there for us, but they are not quality pieces IMO. I still want GReddy to make one for us, similar to the VTEC one they've got.

Even the DC Stainless will rust - the flanges on the DC are not stainless

14WHP??? do u have dyno charts? thats really amazing from just i/h/e. ur exhaust or header must have been really messd up to gain that kinda power.

Mine has some hairline cracks that have been there since the first year.
Usually scrapes. A little flattened underneath.
I did have to replace the bolts that held the upper piece to the lower piece, as they stripped through. So now fitted with nuts on longer bolts.

Not really, the H23 stock exhaust manifold is a poorly flowing cast piece of trash. I'd expect at least 5-6 WHP from a good flowing header, then another 5ish from a CAI, then a couple HP from an exhaust. 14WHP on an H23 is not at all unrealistic.

The dyno chart is posted. It's kind of hard to see but I put a link for a larger picture. By the way my lude has over 200K miles!!!!

Can you guys tell me if the 2-1 pipe, the one that goes underneath the car has the flex pipe at the end like the original one? Or do you have to buy a flex pipe to bolt up to the cat?

While we are on the supject. I own some DC sport CC headers that are on my current totaled LUDE. I want to put the on my new lude (same model, year) but don't know how hard it will be. I know they are just bolt on, but what about all the torquing specifications? What im trying to get at is, I wanna know if this is a hard job to do (or easy to mess up). Thanks
