h22a4, VTECH wont engage.

Hey guys I am a **** so be easy on me. I have a 95 Prelude.
My friend did a swap for me. I had 95 si h23. It was swapped with a 97 h22a4, p13 ecu. My VTECH wont kick in and sometimes the rev jumps up to 1500. There's no vacum leak. the CEL pulls a code looking for Auto trans. I have a stick. Is the problem the ECU? If it is what ECU should I get. Any help would be great. I checked with friends, google and FAQ forums and did not find any help. Thanks.

you need to swap it to OBD1, you're running OBD2 right now

Something is not adding up p13........

Does your ecu have 3 big wire plugs or 4?

Yeah, everything was switched. We tried a different ECU today. p13 with a spoon chip. rev limit was set to 9000. I could not go over 6500 and VTEC did not kick in. The same code came up too.

Do not ever use an ECU with a "chip." Even a V-AFC is better than that. recheck all your wiring. Also, what codes (the numbers) are you getting?
