Does anyone know where to get a jdm h22a without the tranny? I guess just the longblock. thinkin about the swap but not sure. It all depends on the price. Thanks guys
i know i have a local shop that i can get to moddify my test pipe to fit the header. now all i need is to find a place to get an ecu. i could run a p72 couldnt i? it runs rich right? im not sure.
u can use the p72 if u want, id go with a p13 though only cost me 400 for a jdm one and yes its worth it if u get the swap trust me,i havent even driven it yet lol and i had a freak Si taking out vtecs but theres nothing like the actual vtec, DO IT!

the p72 dosnt open your secondary runners till about 6000rpms, and i herd that it bogs low end. ive herd the p28 that has been chipped, moddified for dohc engines, and rev limiter bumped is the way to go.

dont waste your money on a JDM ecu...your going to hate the feul cutoff at 118, i thought oh id never hit it, well i did, it sucks...im running a P28 which u can find cheap, mine is programs to a GSR mugen program, runs very rich...but i also have a VAFC...also i just unplugged the secondaries, theyre open all the time...makes great power through all rpm ranges, ask 4thGVtec, hes seen my car and ridin in it...doesnt bog like everyone says...hope that helps you, also your longer gear ratios are gonna hurt a little, but the Vafc will keep you from falling out of vtec on your 1-2 shift, peace
buy the p28 stock..doesnt matter if its an auto ecu or not..then youll have to pay someone to chip it, but i got my ecu for 250 total...including the p28...peace
