H22a Noise

Hey,
Does anyone have a pic of the crank pulleys and belts
along the side of the engine?
For some strange reason, after my service at honda, (Where they changed the belts) they makes a hi pitched squeeling noise

The strange thing is, it only does this if I turn the heater/Air con on or the Head Lights and keeps squeeling for about 20 minutes or until its fully warmed up.

The reason I need the pic, is to see if the crank pulleys have been replaced properly, and as they are on another H22a
It was suggested that a bolt has been inserted in the wrong place, but I cant see anywhere else it could go!

Any suggestions?

are they loose?

loose belts make noise when u put more strain on them (ex., turning on the a/c or need more electricity)

Hi Prelude UK ,
sorry for the late reply!!!!!
I'm right in the middle of nowhere, between the two cities of Manchester and Liverpool, Hey I'm glad you got in touch though, as there doesnt seem to be many UK owners who have joined this group yet, and I was kind of hoping that one day , we could get a cruise going! ...you wouldnt happen to know where the best places are for getting hold of parts for the ludes do you?
Ive been looking for weeks now, and so far I have to keep relying entirley on Honda themselves for sourcing the parts for me.
hope to speak with ya soon!

I'm from South Manchester, and I co-run a Japanese Car Club based in the North West of England.
Drop me a mail, and I'll give you the details.

No, there aren't many places that sell Lude parts cheap. There are occasionally Jap car meetings in the UK. Get either "Banzai" and "Japanese Performance" magazines.
