I'm wondering how long to expect a h22a to last, hoping it's been taken care of. I'm thinking of buying a 93 with 110K on the engine, should the mileage scare me away??
would it be worth gertting a JDM H22a for a swap into my current 94S?? Any opinions/advice would be appreciated

I'd suggest the swap unless there is some other reason you want to buy another car. It will be cheaper in the long run, unless your car now is crap.
If the motor is/was maintained well, it will last a long, long time- even if you race. 100k miles is nothing to be afraid of, though I would compression test any used motor before buying it.
man, i dont know a swap is going to cost me 3000$ pretty much here locally, which is horrible.. the car will last long, but man 3000 plus all the things i have to already fix is alot in a 10 year old car :-/.. i'll have to see, if i could swap it myself i'd do it, 2k isnt that much but 3.. man i could buy a nice hatch for that price.
One of the guys that gets his Accord worked on at my mechanic has an H22A in it. It has been in the Accord for awhile and has over 200k on it. Honda engines last forever if they are properly maintained. One guy who goes to my mechanic has 400k on his older Accord.
I replaced a clutch not long ago in a Prelude Vtec. The engine had 237K miles on it, and it was strong as hell. No problems what so ever. The motor is maintaned very well, and belive it or not the clutch was original and still looked pretty good. They are very stout engines and will last forever if taken care of.
I swapped and I absolutely love it. My S was pretty stripped from the factory (almost zero options) and is very light --the H22A was just what it needed!!
hey kevie, mine is also pretty basic, what kinda times are you putting down for it? just out of curiosity, well i am hoping to soon have enough to afford it, especially the install... man i wish i could do it myself.
