h22a ecu

getting my vtec conversion soon, is a chipped ecu any good or should i just get a chip for the ecu, is h22a p13 (or p18 not sure) os is it a p28.thanks guys

p13 or p28 would work but p28 will be easier to chip if you plan on doing that later

P28 MUST be tuned to run the engine, otherwise it will not run. P13 cannot be modified but it is the correct ECU for the engine.

oh okay bcoz i saw tuned p28's for the 4th gen prelude, do the tuned chips work good

Never heard of random ones on ebay working worth a $hit, buy a reputable brand ecu or get the factory one. If you plan on doing anything further to the car in the future where you would need further tuning go with something like Crome, Hondata or Neptune.

Phearable.net can send you out an ECU with a H22 basemap.

I'm running a Hondata S300 from phearable.net, their base map was pretty close (engine wasn't stock), for a stock engine they should be able to get it perfect.
