but this one goes all the way up 8,000 rpm in each gear just fine.
We will have to do a little street race to see if it makes a difference...lol You'd probably beat me with your bolt-ons and pulleys.

g_loc: so on an H22 engine, an H23 tranny would be (faster/slower) accelerating than an H22 tranny.
the RPM drops would be (more/less) on an H23 tranny
The cruising RPM's at highway would be to the same as what is specified for the H22 / H23 in the manual because all that changes to the wheels is power.
technically slower.
When you shift the revs fall lower.
When i am at the track without vafc, i have been having trouble staying in vtec on my 1-2 shift. If i have a VTEC tranny it would be easier.
SlP, ill do some "research" with you. But i would need you to leave your little blue friend at home.

Oh man you did it now, it's on next time we see each other.
Do me a favor when I beat you this time... again I don't want to hear any excuses about your clutch, or your exhaust or whatever else you might say. Just Nut up and take it like a man. haha ha
Can a bone stock h22a get in on some of the R&D? Seeing as how im the only one with the h22 tranny thats posted thus far. I thinking a track day or something, hit up LACR.

bummer you missed out, we just had a track day, it was a pretty good turnout. I beat a 350z
I'm runnin just a jdm h22, but am gonna start building my hybrid this month, I liked the power it gave me. Although my h22 has more top end, it shoots past 140 pretty good, and the hybrid dies out around 130ish or so. but have better low end power. The funny thing is that everybody says that a 2.3 gan't take higher revs, but my h22 head is what gave, the only thing wrong with my bottom end is my pistons have marks from the valves, as far as I can see, I have yet to check all the tolerances on the bottom end though, I'm curious to see. I just thought it was funny that a h22 head gave out first from a 10,000 over rev, than the bottom 2.3.
