I think he is saying he spend $550 on the nitrous setup.. as compared to wasting $3k on a H22 swap..

alright my bad ----
nice numbers outta youre h23a those are the highest I have seen outta that engine ----
i would be happy to and yeah I spent 4000-4500 plus six grand on the car and all its many mods (would list them but I am lazy) so this total 95 prelude se with vtec is a 10-12 grand car
so crazy I may be I quess
but it is faster than s2000s, RSxs, and those cost 3 -4 times as much so I quess it is all in what you want ...

^The 2 fastest Preludes I've ever heard of are both H23's with massive turbos. IIRC, they were both at around 550-600WHP.

yeah, h22 all the way, and I don't have one, so it says a lot I love my car, but I think the H23 is a bit of a dog. And it's not some crazy torque monster like people say, the slightly better torque curve is offset by the better top end you'll get out of a VTEC, not to mention the much larger selection of parts available for the H22. Doooo eeet!

^^^ yeah better selection for NA applications but as far as the rest of aftermarket support.. you could find rods, pistons, cams(i have crower cams on my h23), sleevin is the same deal as a h22, P&P, lsd, exhuast, safc or hondata, turbo kits and so on...

well by exhaust, you must mean cat back, because the best headers are all only available for the h22, and as far as intake manifolds go, are there any available for the h23? Hmm, the hondata gasket just popped into my head, even though it shouldn't be a deciding factor of course, and while crower makes cams for the h23, who else does? Plus, with an H23, your idle lobes are your only lobes, so anyone wanting max power but still needing a reasonable daily driver has to keep in mind idle will be affected, unlike on a VTEC. Anyway, someone said no pissing contest, so let's move on

My two close Houston buddies are in the process of building two H22 beasts expected to put out over 500whp each.

I'll keep you updated when they're done.

500 whp is nice, but with b16's knocking on the 700 whp door, its not what it used to be... the industry is moving fast fellas! a 13 second car is even a contendor like it used to be..
