h22 tune-up...SUPER oily....plug..?????

just swapped the h22 in...and im getting hesitation from idle till i get above 1500rpms....so i figured i'd tune it up..plugs..wires..cap..rotor...when i pullled one of the plugs out it was SUPER oily (on the bottom) where it goes down to the cylinder...not sure what that means...cracked ring or somethin?????..i know its not good....she seems to smoke when i fire it up....I imagine this has alot to do with it.

A lot of time that is due the the valve cover O-rings leaking iol down into the spark plug bores (not into the head itself). Is there brown staining on the white ceramic part near where the boot attaches?

this is how my plugs looked when my valve cover o-rings were bad:

Bad O-rings allow oil from the valvetrain to leak into the plug bores (where the spark plug wire goes). The oil pools up in the bottom of the bores. Then when you pull the plugs out, you pull the threads and tip of the plug through the pool og oil, making it look like the plug is DRENCED in oil. The brown staining on the ceramic is from prolonged exposure to the puddle of oil in the plug bores.

The solution is pretty simple: replace the valve cover gsket and o-rings (fairly cheap)
