h22 swap vtec

i have a 92 prelude si and i was told that it came with an h23 non vtec and the guy before me put in a h22a vtec but he used the h23 harness. on the harness there is a conector that fits on the vtec pressure switch but no connector for the solenoid. i tried to trace the wires that came from thepressure switch and it goesallthe way through the harness and leeds to my P13 ECU but the diagrams i have seesay the pressure switch sould go to
D6 and the ground to the engine.... but it doesnt. i knw im new tothis forum but please dont jst tell me to do research cuz i have. i dont understand why a non vtec haness would have a connector for the pressure switch and not the solenoid. the vtecobviously isnt wired and i was hoping that somebody could help me out, i tried honda-tech fotums but they bashed me and wouldnt help cuz "with research ill figure it out" so help please cuz all i find on google or anything else is stuff for h23's b18's and f22's.

So wait, the solenoid isn't hooked up at all? I find it a little weird that the previous owner would go through the trouble of swapping in an H22 but did not get VTEC to work. Anyways...

Some H23 harnesses are at least partially wired for VTEC. The harness on my lude was just missing the VTEC solenoid connection, so I took apart the harness that came with the engine, removed the wiring for the solenoid (1 cable + connector), and plugged it into the ECU.
