H22 swap questions

I have a F22a block with a H23 head, engine is shot, blessing in disguise.
Going to do the swap to H22 and trying to find out what exactly I need. read a lot of posts, but trying to nail it all down.

can i just buy the engine only w/o ecu?

will parts off F22/H23 be compatible? (timing belt, crank pulleys, water pump, DC Sports header, throttle body, starter, AEM adjustable cam gears) anything else

will the trans bolt up?

existing motor mounts work?

axles ok? just put on new ones

what is a reasonable price? around $1000?

any suggested resources for engine? live near Chicago

any mods I should consider? high temp intake heat shield

any other items I'm forgetting??

thanks for any info... first swap.

Yes you can by the engine only.

The list above, throttle body, starter, and i believe crank pulley would work.

will the trans bolt up?
Yes, All H and F series tranny will bolt up, except F20C the s2k.

existing motor mounts work?
I believe so.

axles ok? just put on new ones
Yes.

what is a reasonable price? around $1000?
Around 800-900 tops, is reasonable for h22 engine only.

If that floats your boat. Intake, lightweight flywheel, clutch, delete secondary butterfly, B/S delete kit, Manual tensioner conversion, headers then mod it to 3" collector to full 3" custom piping. why not. its an h22.

any other items I'm forgetting??
P13 ECU. then you going to have to wire the vtec manually.

thanks for any info... first swap.
