H22 swap and manual conversion

I have been working on my first engine swap for the past week. learning a lot and taking my time doing it. I want to make sure i get everything right the first time.

project car almost ready to have f22 pulled

I spent all day saturday cleaning the road grime on the subframe and hood latch. 220k miles to clean up but its getting there

donor car almost ready to have h22 pulled

My plan is to just swap the cabin side of the engine wiring harness from the black to the red car so i don't have to worry about any splicing of connectors for auto->5spd. this should work fine right?

I'm going to be taking tons of detailed pics on the manual swap to help other people out when they do the same thing. only thing is i won't be splicing wires. i hope

The VTEC manual wiring harness is out of the black car. I didn't have to take the AC evaporator out, but i did have to loosen the dash, pull passenger side wires, drop steering column, remove all pedals, then pull driver side wires.

the hardest part is going to be pushing all of the connectors through the hole in the firewall and around the AC evaporator. I couldn't get that thing to come out the way the manual describes.
