whats not interchangable with the h23 and the h22? i can get a long block assembly need to know what i need besides what i have with my h23. this assembly doesnt have anything but basically block and head. do all my sensors change over? will they all work?i know intake/exhaust manifolds wont. what else would i need? water pump? oil pump? anything????

what i got out of the search is that i cant use the longblock because its missing wire harness manifolds etc. etc. but i need to know the etc etc. i need to know exactly what else im gonna need to do this if i can.

Why not just get everything and sell whatever you don't need after the swap?

Anyways, to answer your question. You can use your H23a wire harness/PS/ALT/AC/mounts. You'll need H22a exhaust/intake manifolds, H22a exhaust B pipe.

get an aftermarket header, you'll kill 2 birds with 1 stone.

all i need is manifolds? and whats a b pipe i dont mean to sound dumb. i need a new motor i blew my h23. thanx

B pipe is the pipe that goes after the header. It connects to the cat.

The header has two pieces, the B pipe is the lower part that bolts up to the cat. JDM engines only come with the top half.

i wouldnt be going jdm this is a usdm motor. i need to be able to pass emissions and im not gonna slip some $ to the guy every time i need a sticker.
