h22 and h23 vss differences?

I noticed that the h23 vehicle speed sensor has two hoses that come out of it that go to the oil cooler? I'm not sure.

And the h22 vss has no ports for any hoses at all? What are those hoses for?

Thats a power steering speed sensor.. From what i hear. That VSS has a valve in it that the faster you go less fluid pressure is applied the rack and makes your wheel tighter. I would say that if your car has it, keep it.
