H22/H23 cam gear interchangable?

First off I DID do a search only to find contradicting info. Grant says that they are interchangable in this post: What 5th gen parts fit the 4th gens?
but Satan says they aren't in this thread:
What's the difference between H22 and H23

Am I just going to have to buy some and cross my fingers or can I get a definitive, yes I have H22 cam gears on my H23 right now answer?

Not they are not. Different amount of teeth. The H22(P13) have more teeth.

actually it looks like the formatting got messed up there..

I did write out properly tho... reformatted this is clearer...

"(on <all> h22s but not between h22 and h23) - Cams, Cam gears, Cylinder Head

I have to admit the heads are 'sort of' interchangable.. But I also stated "easily" at the beginning of the list...

Sorry for the confusion..

So for a firm answer H23 Cam Gears WILL NOT fit on a H22 (or F22 for that matter), however, they will fit on a B-series motor..

No way will a F22 as it is SOHC. Also most of the peices in the heads (H22, H23) are not interchangable. The bottom end is different. There is almost nothing that is the same in the head. Even the head bolts are different.
