hey guys, i have a F22B SOHC VTEC in my lude now and i heard from one of my friends that itd be a good idea to swap out my cams with some from an H22 for higher compression. i just wanted to get some feedback from you guys on wether or not you think its worth it or if its even possible.
Your SOHC engine has a single camshaft that actuates both intake and exhaust valves. The H22 is a DOHC engine, and thus uses two individual camshafts to actuate either intake or exhaust valves. You cannot put a H22 camshaft into an your F22B SOHC engine.
