as I make sure what all to do, to put them on. Please make a list of things I have to do so I can make sure. And beacuse I have a 4 g I DONT have to cut the bumpstops right? Thanks I need help fast. Im want to put them on now!
Jack up the car
take off the tire
unbolt the 3(in front, 2 in back) strut mount nuts
take out the bolt holding the shock onto the lower control arm
(for front only) undo/loosen the bolt that tightens the fork on the front shock and take off the fork
take off brake lines from the shock
maneuver the shock out
compress the spring
undo the top of the shock/spring assembly
take off/replace spring
take all steps in reverse.
On the bumpstops, I'm not sure what H&R says, but I cut mine in half with my Neuspeed springs.

I was wondering how you all compressed the springs off? When I did my Acura I had to take them to Les Schwab to get the sqeezed off as the compressor I rented from Schucks was to big to fit between the coils. I have heard of people just loosening the upper nut and letting it fly (I'm not going to do this as I am not SUICIDAL).
I was thinking about tieing some of the coils together while the they are on the car and compressed by the weight of the car. I am not sur what I would use that would be strong enough and what to do with the compressed springs once they are off the car.
im going to be on stock shocks for a while, my car has only 79k on it so I figure it will last me a while, prob, will upgrade in 3 months. Yes it will be lowered on stock wheels, for 3 days, I get my slipstreams here on friday.
Do not cut bumpstops. It will ride even better than stock and you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner. I know, cause I waited like an idiot and carried a set of H&R sports around in my trunk for two years+. It rides so fine now with 215-45-17's and no rubbing, no tire problems of any kind, and no need for camber kit.
