i have the Neuspeed race springs and i love them. it is probably more of a drop than you want, but it does look pretty sweet. Not close to stock at all, but not to slammed either. The Neuspeed Sport will probably work well for you.

it lowers the back more than the front because stock the rear has more clearance. the point is to make the wheel gap on the front and back even. as far as the two springs you are comparing are about the same so i would say buy whatever ones you can get for cheaper.

I have the H&R Sports. I consider it a very good street spring. It lowers it nicely, but doesn't look "slammed". I don't wanna deal with the scraping or bottoming out on the street just to have a slightly lower/slightly better handling car.

you are supposed to get new shocks. springs shouldn't really wear out and they won't squeek. that is your shocks being blown out because they are not designed to handle a stiffer spring.
