Gunmetal my rims?...need opinions...

ive been thinking about it for a while now, but i heard theres different kinds of gunmetal, like black opel, glossy, mat finish. etc.

what do you guys think?
or leave it stock?





also if anyones good a photoshoping, be my guest

I would leave them in the silver. I like the contrast between the dark color of your car and the silver rims. This is just my opinion though, I've never liked gunmetal rims or black rims unless they are on certain color cars.

I can't post the photoshopped pic of your car so I'll email it to you.

I'm with mark, I don't think gunmetal would look very good on a black car. I like the silver.

hmm tru, but when mark photo shopped it, it looks badass!!!








how about not SO dark, maybe a kinda lighter black color...like greyish...

i like the gunmetal look I am interested in changing my stock rims to a gunmetal color, how would you go about doing this???

You need to find a place that has the ability to powder coat. Powder coating is a very durable coating that uses electric charges to bond the colored powder to the surface.

It is an expensive process but the result will be very nice and last for a very long time.

I don't think gunmetal would look quite like the photoshop pic. I think they would be a lot duller. In the pic they almost look like a dark chrome to me.

charlie, you should use the gunmetal finish my Axis Se7en's have. It's like a very dark green almost.

This is the only online one I have. Right now I am uploading some untampered ones onto imagestation but it's taking forever to upload. My digi cam was free and basically you can tell it's free.
