Guess I will gettin a H22 now

Well dudes my bro was driving the lude last night an it died s ohe coasted it over into an apartment complex an when u went to start it all i got was CLUNK!!!! an the starter arced. So i thought it might have been the starter so i dropped $175 to have it rebuilt ...... then i noticed a large oil leak ...... an crawled under the hoopty an found a chunk of metal near the oil pan was dislodged from the rest of the motor. I'll get pics in a bit my digicam battery was dead.... just sux didnt wanna spend the cash on a swap.

Oh well least i'll get VTEC

Naw no oil leak ... when i went to go look at it after it died i checked the loil an it was perfect.

Heres some pics... ur looking at the lil block that looks like it has a number 13 on it

And i had a beatiful engine bay too




Anyway if anyone is looking for some parts off this H23 lemme know from what i can tell the only thing bad is the block. When i pulled the valve cover off couple months ago is was all golden underneith. Yes those are NGK wires if anyone is interested an no im not selling the intake

Did you take the heat shield off the factory exhaust manifold or sumthin?

is he really missing a big chunck of metal in that pic? i just got under my car and it's got the same thing. i know that my engine is on its way out already, but is this something that's contributing?

I took mine off to paint it. I put the bolts back into the the spots and painted the heat shield a flat black color. Stupid me! I should paint the bolts too since they will show and when I went to get them out I snapped the head off of one of them. Hence, No heat shield for me!
