gude performance package

hey all! I thought a couple of people on here were gonna get their heads P&P and TB work, and the cams (gude perf. package).

Just wondering if anyone has had them work your engine, and if so how was the quality of their work? Performance gains? downfalls to the procedure?

just trying to figure out what GUDE as over a local shop besides price for my h22

thanks!

i did a search on this site, and the general consensus was that the gude package was utter crap.

Gude Package

I have the gude throttle body on my prelude. With the intake manifold port matched i got an extra 6 hp to the wheels. That's not bad at all. As for the head package, I sold one to a civic. He got 19hp to the wheels. Not good, but not bad either.
All dyno was done at AEBS engineering.

Gude might not be total ish... but I have heard of problems. It's supposedly a company for the meek and mild. They were a consideration when I was building my motor, but they weren't hard core enough. So I chose, of all people, JG Engine Dynamics. Although I've had my issues with them, my TB and intake manifold were extremely nice. And I absolutley LOVED my Pro series head. It was, in a word, badass. If I had it to do all over again, which I pretty much do right now, I think Portflow would be the company which I'd try next.
