grr battery problems

ok heres the problem. both terminals have corrosion on them but it still charges ok. well then, i go to take the negative cable off and the bolt completey breaks in half, with the end still in the threads of the cable. so my question is, is the negative cable hard to replace? and do i need to replace the positive too?

no it is not hard to replace. no u dont need to replace the positive. from the negative terminal of the battery, the cable splits into two cables one going to the cars frame (right in front of the battery) and one goes down to the tranny. thats it.
