Grindage into 5th at high RPMS

Hello. One day i was running through my gears, showing my friend the ever so powerful vtec... and i miss shifted from 2nd, to 5th, but when i did, it grinded like wholy hell into gear. Since then, if i go to 5th from 4th at a high rpm, it will grind into gear. If i shift to 5th at a normal pace, its fine. Also, if i like, pull the clutch in, and rev the rpms up high, then try to throw it in 5th, it will grind. So ya, its at a high RPM about 3500 + . Bad syncro maybe? I was having a hard time putting it in reverse one day, and taking it back out of reverse... But no problems since that day with reverse.

Sounds like my problem and I have yet to fix it... I have been told it could be Synchros... but I also have a hard time geting in to reverse sometimes so it might be the 5th/Reverse fork... either way, tranny repair = $$
