I know. Ebay was the only place I could find pictures. I was just wondering what everybody thought.

Not functional huh.?.... I guess you've never driven down the freeway and had a plastic bag get sucked into the front end. Worse than that, a rock ! I've pulled out garbage, leaves, cigarette butts, feathers & fur.

I'd say its a great idea. That pattern of mesh might be a little aggressive, but I would say its better than nothing.

haahahhaha

for 20 bucks

u can just go to a local hardware store, buy some mesh, and make shape it urself.. most u'll spend is 4 or 5 bucks plus your time..

someone just did it themselves and though "hmm, i can make some money offa lazy people that dont wanna do this themselves"

as for looks, it looks wack.. adds "rice" to a stock bumper IMO! as for purpose, i dont really know cus if a plastic bags rolls up in there, it just falls out the bottom anyways because i took the splash gaurd off the bottom of my car..

I had mesh on my old lude and must say, it cought alot of things so it didnt reach the radiator..

A few items were,
1) Leaves - When its Autum and Windy, leaves are fly all over the place. Easy to clean.

2) Flies - The holes were the right size to even catch flies. Better than having the fly dent a fin on the radiator (which they can do. Tuff little buggers when doing 70mph).

3) Birds - Hate it when a bird flies right in front of you..

4) Paper and plastic bags - saves them from being sucked into the bumper and onto the radiators. With the grill, they just fell off when I stopped.

But, I only think that the mesh should be left alone on say a silver car (less noticable) and painted the same colour if different. Otherwise it just stands out like bad apple...

the mesh looks wierd, on a stock bumper the slots are too thin, looks better on an agro bumper or something other than stock

Agreed. I would not get a mesh grill to go with the stock bumper.
