GReddy header measurements

Has anyone here measured a GReddy header? I would like to compare it to the fujitsubo. Thanks in advance.

Sorry to butt in, but Joel, would you happen to know if the Greddy header for the 4th gen is designed to fit a JDM or USDM cat converter? Like, would you have to modify it to fit a USDM cat??

Thanks!

Is the Greddy header much bigger or bigger at all vs DC?

from my naked eyes, I can only tell the collector is larger on the Greddy. looks like 2.25" vs 2.0"

Garry, the GReddy header requires no modification to fit the USDM H22A. I'm not sure if it would need any modification to fit a JDM VTEC.

I don't think it does because I've seen a few people around here that have a GReddy header on their JDM H22A. If it does need any modifacation it would probably require you to drill out the holes a little on the downpipe flange which you can do with an ordinary drill and a decent bit.

Hope that helps.

Mark

Cheers Mark I believe the JDM cat is shorter and narrower than the USDM cat, but not sure if the bolt holes are different. I guess the length doesn't matter because the cat doesn't actually hang anywhere, it just sits between the downpipe and center pipe, wherever they may be in terms of distance from each other.

I'm looking into a complete new system for my car as the Tanabe I have now is starting to corrode on the pipework near the rear muffler and is leaking. Seeing as I still have the stock header and cat, I thought I might aswell go the whole hog and change the lot. I always fancied the GReddy header, but the thread on the Fujitsubo header has (possibly) changed my mind on that idea. I am now very tempted by a Kakimoto cat back, the aforementioned Fujitsubo header and a decat pipe between the two.
