GReddy Header and evo exhaust install

Well I just got my header and Evo exhaust installed today. I'm still not sure what to think. Its about 10 degs. out so I can't really get on it and go anywhere. But it seems a bit ricy to me. Will it get deeper? Maybe I'm just not used to the sound of exhaust again. comments welcome.

Nice choice. Did you modify the catalytic converter? I have the same setup w/the stock cat and it sounds deep. After a few drives the system will break in and sound better.

It'll change a little, but it's mostly probably that you're just not used to it. It'll grow on you believe me, because you've got two of the best made products for the Prelude. Nice choices.

Greddy headers are available now for 4th gen VTECs? Last time I checked, they had them on backorder If you don't mind me asking...where did you buy yours and how much was it? I'm getting one for sure after I get my clutch and flywheel

thank you all.

euforik: they just took the cat off the stock exhaust and bolted up to the new exhaust.

I got my header from Performance by design, a local performance shop. I got a hook up on everything, so I got the header and exhaust for a little under 900 or so. (well it was a xmas gift, but my boyfriend got it for under 900 )

i guess i just need to hear some really ricy exhaust then hear mine and go...my god mine sounds good...lol.

She says she can't get on it because it's too cold. I'd have to anyway, you should still be able to tell a difference, I'd think.

Well, you COULD try and take off in a higher gear so your tires don't spin. Just a thought! lol
