The ambers looked real out of place when I first put them on, from having my car allll black for so long, but the more and more I looked at it, the more it grew on me till I decided to keep it this way. Accents the fenders nicely I think.
I don't like adding foreign colors to the scheme of my car .. before it was just black.. everywhere. Then I got the JDM fenders, but before I put them on decided I'd get the JDM ambers to 1) compliment the amber signals in the fenders, and 2) to have original JDM funtionality and parts.
The sidemarkers look very nice on the fenders, and they are quite bright. The main reason I went with JDM clear bumper lenses was because I have a 94. I wanted to keep consistent with what a JDM 1994 Lude would look like. Now all you have to do is fill in your rear bumper lights
I didnt bondo fill the rear bumper. We used fiberglass, and it came out perfect. Sorry, I can't stoop to the chrome housing look cause they look to close to USDM lights. I have to put my foot down somewhere
Sheesh, your car is REALLY low. I sit pretty low, but WOW!
I like the JDM stuff too

Hehe, yeah it's about as low as it gets. H&R St.2 Race springs with Koni Yellows on the bottom perch. I used to have a lip kit, but I can't put it on anymore
thanks man, yea I just replaced the USDM's with the JDM's.. all JDM fenders will have the side turn signals. And I would get like a spoon lip or something, but it would throw off the 'level' of my car... what I mean is, how it is right now, all the lips on the car are the exact same height, nice and level.
No, our cars don't have the plugs for the sidemarkers, but it's REALLY easy to wire them up correctly.. as follows:
You'll notice when you get the side signals that there are 3 wires coming from them, 2 are green with a stripe, and 1 black. The Power for the signal is hooked up, as if it were 'in line' to the front main signal. When you take off your fenders to put the new ones on, slice open the wire loom and find the wire for the front MAIN (not the little one) signal, cut it, and solder the 2 wires coming from the signal to either side of the cut wire on your car... then just tap into the ground in the same loom, and viola you're finished! And that's exactly how it's wired in Japan. They use a single power wire and just jump the power from the relay, to the side signal, to the front main signal. Now you have them wired correctly, where when the signals are on, the front, side and rear signals will all blink at once.
The only difference between JDM and USDM Amber lights, is that on the JDM ones, the outer bumper light, does not have a hole for the bulb, because it is not used.. it also has no reflector in it.
Also do you know where I could purchase a right JDM fender? Because I was recently hit by a SupraTT and he crinkled up my whole right side. I'm looking for a replacement now that I realize my fenders are JDM.
