I got bored this weekend so I decided to modify my enclosure a little bit this weekend. It now blends much better with the trunk than it did before. Yall may or may not be impressed. . .but I'm not bored anymore!BTW: the sub is an Image Dynamics IDQ10 DVC, powered by an Xtant 121m.

Did you find that carpet at any carpet store? It matches perfectly with the trunk.
I still need to get unlazy and brave the cold to build my fiberglass box, but I'm worried it will take forever to dry.
The carpet is just generic box carpeting from Best Buy. The match isn't actually exact. . .it looks that way because I recarpeted the entire panel, with the enclsure in place. When it (and the amp rack) are in the trunk, they are slightly darker than the rest of the panels. If you have a heat lamp or a heat gun, you can get resin to cure regardless of the temp. . .but you r fingers are still numb.

I've been looking at that box and can't for the life of me figure out WHERE in the trunk it's supposed to go. What gen do you have? If it's a 4th do you think you can whip up a schematic and instructions fr fabricating one? I'd be willing to pay for something like that.
Yeah, it basicly replaces the left trunk panel (ME: this is my same old enclosure, I just used some expanding foam and body filler to blend it into the OEM panel, you could probably do the same to your (he has a replica of this one)). I MAY get around to making some more this summer. . .all depends on how things pan out. I'd consider doing a write-up on the process I used to make it, but I need to find the time to sit down and do it. A LOT of the work required is just test fitting, modifying, and more test fitting.
