I got an RSX 5 speed shift knob at the dealer for $49. It looks great, feels smooth, and best of all, it screws in like a stock shift knob. My car is a little dirty and a new shift boot and console are going to be replaced tomorrow, but you get a general idea of how it looks.
I'm looking for something that is hefty like the stock knob but doesn't look like a freakin apple (e.g., momo's (i think) huge round knobs - don't like those at all)
You gotta try this shift knob out. It is the best buy out there imo. I used to have a Sparco Techo, but I did not like how it was held in with alan wrench screws. This one screws in perfectly
I haven't drove with anything but the stock knob....is it really that much better? I'm interested in getting a shift knob pretty soon, and good websites to look at or should I stick with eBay?
what stage do you have? do you like it? nice purchace man...looks really nice. I was thinking about getting 1 too after i saw yours but then like irish said, it would get really hot and it gets to be about 100+ here like it has been lately.

I installed the knob the way the factory states. Then I put my shift boot over the plastic ring and used black zip ties to secure it.
As for the flywheel, that is a purchase that will be coming soon. My ACT clutch is a street/strip and it works great except stop and go traffic kinda sucks because it is rather stiff
stop and go traffic = death for MT cars! grrrr. I'll have to look into some ACT clutches here in a little while. My friend just bought a stage 2 for his 01 eclipse and it was $500. 8O
