Got my hood pins in....what a day....

Today I finally got my Sparco hood pins put in. I think they look great, they are blue like the color of my intake and soon my valve cover too. Anyways, I came home from the shop and decided to wash my car and take some pics so I can show you guys how it looks now on the forum. I get it all nice and clean, take some pics, then decide I'm going to move my car in the garage because with my luck a flock of birds are going to poop all over it. I get in my car put the key in and try to start it. BOOM!#@~!#!@ My battery decides to explode. Must have been a defective battery I geuss? Oh well I figure, could have been worse, so I clean off all the battery acid and crap all over so it doesn't harm anything. I take the battery out and my buddy comes over and we head to Autozone to go get a new battery and give them the one that exploded (in a bag). We get there, I find out the battery is 10 more than they told me it was so I gotta go back to the bank and withdraw some money. On our way there some idiot whos in a truck pulling a trailer turns through our lane but cant go forward and is stuck. So we are going about 45mph (speed limit) and about it slam a trailer in the middle of the road. My buddy slams the brakes and the battery flys forward....battery acid everywhere. All over my feet and its burning. Then the truck sped off, so we couldn't get him to help or anything. Well the damn acid burned through his floor mat, so those are toast now, but we got some baking soda and water on it in time to save a lot of the carpet. Anyways, he goes and I go clean up and take my sisters car to Autozone to get my battery. Get there, get the battery and on my way home my sisterys 1989 Toyota Camry starts acting weird...I would put it into 2nd and it would just rev and I would go a little, but it would rev real high. Pulled over and let the people pass me cause I was only going about 15-20mph and couldn't speed up. Try again, starts happening again...pull over try again...finally get it to start working properly and I make it home. Tell my sister what happened and she said it's never happened before. (If any of you know what could be wrong please tell me!!) I went and installed the battery and it works fine. My sister now leaves for home but on her way home it starts happening to her and she turns around and comes back and here I am now...posting this. Anyways, let me know what you think of the pics!

Let me know what you think!

That's not too bad. I'm not a big fan of them, but it looks pretty good.

not too shabby, id rather have them be black to blend in more, but like you said, it will match your Intake and Valve Cover

what kinda hood is that?
