Got my header at long last!!! Pics...

Well, I received the Kakimoto Racing exhaust about 6 weeks ago and I was just waiting on the Fujitsubo Super EX header to arrive. Well, now it's here I can finally get it bolted on!! I also had a de-cat pipe made up to that matches the header and exhaust perfectly.

Anyway, to give a break to the 56k'ers on here I will post the link to the album, aren't I nice?

Here... http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4289096779

Opinions welcomed

VERY nice Garry, let us know the gains! Hopefully a dyno plot

Also, I am sure you already know this, but if you can keep your fingers/hands off of the header it won't discolor overtime. If you already touched it, clean the header with brake fluid before you put it on. This way it will look brand new even after it's been on and heated multiple times.

Nice one Gary

I'd like to hear how this sounds and any gains you get?

How much'd it cost and where'd you get it from if you don't mind me asking?

D

Looks real nice Garry, like Charlie said, be sure to clean them very well before you fire up the car.

I was so excited to start mine up and go for a drive when I installed my header that I forgot to clean it up. Because of it, the header has an uneven blue and purple color.

Congrats and enjoy!

Mark

Andy - Tell me about it, the order goes back to the middle of May!!
Worth the wait though!

Charlie - Didn't know that! I've had my grubby paws all over it already so it'll be cleaned up and installed wearing gloves!

Dave - I got the header and exhaust from Pole Position on this very board. He is a top bloke, I highly recommend him. In total, it weighs in at about £700 all in, damn customs hit me for another £100 in import tax though!!

The exhaust he already had in his stock, the header was on back order from Japan and that is what took the time. I think it was a 12 week wait at the time!!

Everyone else, thanks for the comments and tips, I'll hopefully get it put on next week and let you all know how it sounds/feels. I'm hoping for a bit of a gain, but mainly to get rid of the Tanabe which has an ever increasing hole in it and sounds like crap!!

Joel, I certainly intend to. But, obviously, I'm keeping the cat for the emissions test (smog) so if it's unbearable, it can be taken off.

But, my neighbor decided to trim the tree in his backyard Sunday morning. I'm talking me w/hangover + him w/chainsaw + 8am = revenge by me, in a VTEC flavor

Garry, could you measure the diameter of the collector for me? I don't want to unbolt mine to measure it if you already have it off the car.
I know Fujitsubo's site says it's 60mm but I want to see what the inner diameter is.

Call me a dumbass, but I might call the collecter something else.
From the pic, try to describe which part you mean..

The piece on the right......that long tube with the house flange.
A picture with a ruler next to the opening would be nice.
Thanks.
Hope you enjoy the header.
