got lucky... but still broke something

Well I was racing down the interstate against a 5th gen and mis-shifted. 2nd gear at 86mph.... I think my motor is ok but I blew my clutch up....

question though - will an H22 idle smooth with an egged rod, or a bent valve?

Was on my way to classes and on the i-state and a guy was in my lane and going slower then sin and pissing me off.. and everyone was zooming by on the left and right so i couldnt get a gap to get around... finally is saw one so i dropped from 5th... to what i thought was 4th and happened to be 2nd. i dropped and my rpm's shot up like a mother and my head snapped backa nd i looked down and i pushed the clutch back in at 6k rpm's... i was liike ohhhhhhhhhhhhh ****. phew.

.....What are some clues of a bent valve??

I hear a weird like clunking noise sometimes and my sometimes idles weird...and other times its fine.
My friend told me its a screwed TPS sensor and i recently changed the oil and maybe i didn't add enough and that could be the cause of the weird clunking noise, I mean I just replaced the head gasket too and everything was fine... up until tonight...
any ideas??

Jose
