Goodridge Braided Steel brake lines

Anyone used these for a 4g? Are they any good? Also do you know if they will fit the 4ws model? And, about how much do they run?

I got em..I use em I love them.

i did the whole brembo rotor, axis pads swap when I did my lines so to me it was a huge diff from my stock squishy brakes. Very very firm pedal...and almost no fade under heavy daily braking.

I paid around $125 per set, the install was straight forward.

note: it was ver hard to find anyone that had these in stock. Most places had them on back order for up to 5 weeks. I called every ad in Sport Compact car and Super Street magazine....I mean EVERY SHOP. Only one had them at a reasonable price..Speedandstyle out of florida I think..fast shipping too

Cool. Will these last the life of the car? Also, do you have a prelude s/si (smaller rotors and calipers)? And how many miles have you ahd them for? Also, any warpage on the rotors? And what kind of axis pads did you get (which model)?

Thanks, Jordan

As usual, MachineHead's right on the money. I just had these lines installed, along w/ my VTEC caliper/rotor swap, and I must say that the results are WELL worth the money. I paid about 120-130 for them, about. I went through www.nipponpower.com, also in Florida, and the shipping was very fast, and yes, they were in stock there too. The pedal feel I have is VERY firm, compared to stock, as they should be w/ these lines. Go for it.

I think it's safe to say these will last longer than you own the car. My stock lines were almost 10 years old wth not a problem. The quality of these is much higher and could last 15 -20 years.

I got the Axis Metalmaster pads..brake dust is pain but it's worth it to me. I have had the setup for almost a year now with no probs..except for some sqeaking when the pads are cold..but once they warm up it's all good

Thanks for the input. Does anyone know if the Si 4ws and regular Si use the same brake lines? Also, how bout the Si's and VTECs?
