It seems like the black paint is chipping off my fog covers. Underneath is a gold color. Has anyone else had this happen? WTF!

I found some FACTORY (not spraypainted) JDM CHROME nostrils! I found it on a front clip and snagged these little rarities... I have seen quite a few clips but never with chrome anything...

I also checked to see if it was painted by the japs, but I could see that it was factory and had a little bit of wear indicating it was chromed plastic and not just sprayed...
