Going stealth (muffler)

Thought I'd post up some pics/vids of a new muffler I just had installed. I did have a WS catback but the piping rusted out where it attached to the muffler so everything from the axle back had to be replaced.

After looking around, I decided to go with an ES Tuning universal muffler. I chose it because I thought it sounded pretty good and it looks pretty stock-ish (single tip though). That was important because I'm planning on moving to Toronto this fall and apparently the cops there are worse than California when it comes to cracking down on modding.

The muffler itself is full SS and comes either polished or painted black in 2.25 or2.5 inch piping. I decided to go for full stealth mode black Brought it down to Meineke to get it installed and of course they messed up the install. I think the muffler is a little short for the prelude and it's ends too far under the bumper so they decided to add a cheesy slant tip to it even though I never asked for it. I had to buy some high temp paint and paint the tip black so it didn't look completely ghetto.

Straight!

I feel like I'm downsizing:

Post install with the ghetto fab tip!

A bad driveway rev vid I'll try to get a driveby vid at some point.

Note that I still have a big resonator on from my WS catback so it's not too loud. I'm very happy with the sound - a little bit deeper and louder than the WS but not much. Anything under 3000 rpm and I don't hear it, only when you get on it.

ya i'm going to fight it. when he pulled me over, the 1st words that came out of his mouth was that he had a pet-peeve to pull over people with an aftermarket exhaust.
when he was following me, i changed lanes 3 times to see if he was gonna pull me or not. he didn't signal any of his lane changes. not to mention it was raining and he didn't have his lights on.
mind you, at 5 o'clock on the main strip through Richmond.
why do cops feel they are above traffic laws, but yet wanna pull someone over for a loud exhaust! sheesh!!
