Glass Sunroof: Possible?

Anyone ever heard of this. Is it even possible? I think it would be nice to have a piece of smoked glass as a roof.

I remeber some guy who had one, I tried getting ahold of him to find out how he did it, but he never responded to my emails. I also called some glass shops and asked around, they said the only way to do it is get a custom piece of glass made and fitted, and it would cost way to much for them to be interested. I'd just forget about it, glass weighs too much anyway, just make a carbon fiber one like me

There's someone on the board that has a glass roof, but when he did it, he also installed a piece that would cover the glass, so the light would not go through. A few year ago, you could find the conversion kit on ebay every so often. But now, its rarely heared of.

Man I thought about this awhile back and it really would be nice! Unfortiantely its probably not worth the money, time, and heartache that will come with that kind of custom conversion. Im just happy that our ludes all come with a sunroof. Better than nothing IMO.

I'm in the process of making one, but with lexan... I have a sunroof panel in my garage waiting to be cut up, but school has got me by the balls and I don't have time to work on it yet.

dude its so easy, get it off a 97+ prelude it fits perfectly except with some dirlling for new holes on the old braket then you will have about 1/4 of inch of higher glass roof i think your suposed to put some washers or something? does not make sense to me but mines 1/4 inch higher than the roof. cost? 150$ junk yard what ebay?
