hey there. i am getting a new clutch. But i found out that i cant get a pilot bearing with the clutch kits. I have checked with multiple stores and the only way to get a pilot bearing is spending at LEAST $150 bucks more to get the package with the flywheel. Is a Pilot bearing worth that price? Is it even necessary to replace?

The 5th gen H22 crank does not have a pilot bushing/bearing.

no, just get the clutch disk, pressure plate, and throwout bearing. you'll be fine

I agree with jsmooney...I replaced my clutch last year with an OEM replacement excedy unit and it has worked beautifully for the past 25xxx miles...

Oh thanks alot guys, i just bought the kit like you stated earlier. And it is still $129, cant beat that.

Might as well do the rear main seal while your in there, that's something you definitely don't want to start leaking and have to take this all apart again.
