To get or not to get

Apexi VAFC. I just got the green light from the wife to get it for myself for X-mas. But in doing some research I am not positivly sure I want it. I know if I do get it I will have it dynotuned. However when I hook it up I proly will not get to dyno it for a bit. Neways I have I/H/E would I be optimizing these or not really. Also would fuel pressure riser be needed???. I am confused Ne help would be appreciated. Thanks

A V-AFC changes your fuel, so what would you need an FPR for?

If it's a good price, get it now, if not wait until it's closer to dynotuning time.

Yes with I/H/E you could gain 7-10 whp and a boatload of midrange power, not just peak gains.

Satan

I thought I read somewhere that when you do a VAFC you should do this as well. i guess I was wrong. The price is on GBC for 300 bones shipped. I guess the dyno would not be too far off once I get it installed. (Satan) Do you have one installed and did you do it yourself?? thanks for the info man Peace

well its on its way

i could not resist the temptation. Sitting here at my desk staring at the cool lcd display of the Apexi V-AFC it just all became too much so I just broke down and bought it. I found a deal on Groupbuycenter but they did not take amex so I found a little less of a deal with titan motorsports.com $320 and free shipping. Oh well.

Does 195 bones to hook up and dyno tune sound bad??? I didn't think so but maybe it is. Peace

yeah I know

I need to pay some bills and do x-mas presents but hey I gotta get me some too ya know..... I think i am going to have Passen Motorsports hook it up and dyno it. 200 bucks sounds fair.. I could get the itch to put it in before though we shall see. I will definitly let you guys know how it goes.
