Generic just as quiet as the real thing? - Honda Prelude Forum

Would something like this, an Apex WS knock off, be just as quiet as the real thing? I have been hearing people talk about how the World Sport is OEM sounding and quiet, if I got a knock off like this would it be equally as quiet?

looks like it includes a silencer...if so, id assume its louder than the real WS (the reason they include a silencer)....but alot of the exhaust manufacturers use different packing/sound deadening material inside the actual muffler/canister...that might be a reason for price differences..

i doubt it, for car parts, you can skimp in some places (strut bars etc)

but an exhaust is something i want to know for sure the performance
