Didn't you haveto remove your passenger cooling vent to do this? Prelude god did the same thing.

I have mine mounted in my ash tray. You can fit two gauges side by side very nice there. used plexiglass and painted it black to match the interior

im only looking to mount one guage at the moment and i was ganna buy a dual pillar pod when i have more done, hopefully turbo. i just want to mount an air/fuel ratio gauge at the moment. i though about the ashtrey and i know someone that can do one with bondo that matches the interior perfect,i know it sounds ghetto but u sould see his work, but i dont want to make him do all that work for that one little guage.

i will look into those ideas though. thanks.

The bondo seems like too much work. Heres a pic of mine when I only had the Air/fuel gauge. All I did was cut the plexi the same size as my ashtray and it fit in there nice and snug. It doesn't even budge. Running the wires was easy to cuz I already had power and ground running to my foggy switch. It took me an hour and a half to cuut and install. I used my dremel as the only tool to cut and then sand the plexi to size. I only painted the back of the plexi so the paint wouldn't scratch. Sorry my shifter is in the way. But you get the idea.

Best thing is this is not perminent, you can take it out in 20 mins and make everything back to stock. The plexi cost me $3 bucks, and I had flat black spray paint
