i just did a manual swap and i changed everything except the guage. i thought those automatic shift lights in my gauge will be gone after disconnect the wires from my automatic shifter but only the red dot that tells which gear you are in is gone. those letters "P, R , N, D4, D3, 2, 1" lights are still on. anyone know how to get rid of this? although it's kinda cool to show people that my car used to be an automatic because noone believed me when i told them i got a manual swap. lol
you can unplug the cluster that works those lights. It's pretty easy to take apart and do. Get a 5 speed cluster while you are at it and swap it out. You can get them on ebay cheap.

I didn't think there was a JDM H23 that wasn't vtec? (not trying to bust your balls just curious ) As far as wishing for a H23vtec yeah it is was nice I recomend doing it if you have the chance.
oh? so i have to take out the guage in order to do huh? hmm kinda lazy... haha thanks for you info though clifford. oh by the way, about my rims... i went to the shop to get the tires mounted onto my new rims, they wanted $80 for them. so i guess i'll be looking for places that will do it cheaper... and until i find that place... stuck with the ones i have now. man... i was so excited to get these rims too... ;(
the dash is really easy to take apart. You just have to be careful with some of the parts so you don't bust them. It is really easy to replace the gauge face too and shouldn't cost you more than 20 bucks.
Sucks about your wheels. I would like to see before and after pics if you can get them
they do have jdm non vtec h23. the engine code is different i believe.... mine's h23a and i believe usdm version says h23a4. also the intake manifold had extra holes that i just blocked it off with a screw.
clifford, i went back to that place and got the price down to 65. haha i think i'm gonna do it tomorrow morning. anyways, i'll try to take some pix tonite and tomorrow with the new rims.
by the way, what's ur real name clifford?
