Gasoline for my lude...

I have a 95 H22 v-tec. WHat grade of gas do you guys put in your car? My old integra GSR called for premium, so I've been puttin premium in my lude. Am i wasting money? Thanks.

89 Here.

93 is too expensive for me and I don't notice any difference. The F22B can handle 89 just fine.

For some odd reason I can feel when I'm running 90 octane gas. For the most part the car will bog.

I know this because whenever I go back to my hometown, premium there IS 90 octane. The car just runs slightly bad. I wish I could just put 91 because the car doesn't need 93, but very few places offer 91.

It amazes me when not only can't people search, but also, understand the stated octane requirements for cars.

Premium here is 93. The car doesnt seem to run any better on 93 than 89. There is a gas station in birmingham that sells 91 - the car likes that stuff.

well, I run 89 in the car. Until I have more reason to run 93, I will continue to run 93. The car detunes the motor - that's fine with me....it's an everyday driver
