I recently put a header on my car, went to the strip did around town (mostly city driving), highway driving to and from the strip, and then raced at the 1/4 mile about 10 times. I just got gas today, and checked my mileage, i went about 480 miles on 20 gallons (i stopped twice during the past two days and put $5 in twice). I got ~24 miles per gallon. Is it odd to get this kinda mileage after drag racing on the tank? or does this just depend on the mods done to the car? I was surprised!

I have I/H/E....and just recently changed the oil
