definately not. However it is a bad practice to maintain. Your knock sensor is for this purpose, actually. and better luck next time

ive done that before... but with a full tank or 89. I didnt put any octane booster in, I just waited till it all ran out. Everything will be fine.

Its not going to caus any problems, but you car may run sluggish. Dont do it all the time.

Yeah, the most that will happen is the knock sensor will sense the bad gas and you will run a little slower.

Just dont do it again

hey, I have a 94 VTEC and during the days when I was super cheap, I used to consistently put 87 octane gas from Quick Stop in it. I think I did this for a good couple of years.

All that will happen... your knock sensor will detect preignition before you can even hear it. Ig. timing will be retarded, and you probably won't even notice the difference. Power output will be lessened... but that aside, the ECU will just keep retarding the timing until it stops detecting knock.

Exactly. Its not like you have to use premium you just should because your car will be losing power due to the timing being retarted. The octane booster will probably cause more damage then the 87 octane gas will.
