well i guess its better safe than sorry.. i was kinda pissed when i saw i only got like 270 mi out of my tank with 1 bar left.. then i found out i had 3 gallons left..

haha sorry but the gauge is there for ppl who dont know when to fill gas.!!! haha really most gauges are inaccurate anyways. when the constance red gas light comes on i wait another 30 miles if i can to fill up. then i fill up! w00t, that just mean, it gets risky on long hauls, but short hauls it ok

it also can depend if you're on an incline or not because of the sensor placement.
