Fuse blown?

Last night my cig lighter...dome light...and the lowest setting of wipers stopped working. Does this sound like I blew a fuse somewhere? Once it stops raining im going to check each one, but does this sound like anything else?

man, i've been having werid wiring **** like that happen. my headlight dinger, my key dinger, and the lights on my fan controls don't work. the dome light only works half the time, and doesn't work at all with the passenger door. my cruise/sunroof/dimmer switches only light up half the time, and my auto window switch doesn't light up anymore.

Blamo: cig lighter and dome light are on the same circuit....so a blown fuse is likely. The wipers may be another fuse, but is certainly on a different circuit. Wipers also run though a timer relay...may need to check that.

Chester: you've got lots of gremlins in your electrical system - too much to cover here. I'd find someone local that's an electronics guru that can spend a little time with it.

apon checking my fuses it was my interior lights fuse that was blown, and that controled the dome light, cig lighter, rear defroster, and lowest setting of wiper blades. Weird huh?

Not really weird, somewhat expected. A high amp circuit is required for the intermittent wiper relay, so its logical it could be on that same circuit. Glad you're up and running again.

PS: Fuses usually blow because something is wrong on the circuit. If you have an aftermarket stereo I'd check there first. There may be a wire that is grounding out.

The same thing happened to me last night...with the cig lighter, dome light and 1st intermittent speed of the wipers going out all at once. I will check the interior light fuse. Thank you!!
