Fuel Pump Research. eBay.

I've been trying to find a thread on fuel pumps here; I wasn't successful.

I own a 94 SI. It has an h22a1. Now what I've been researching is, do I buy a fuel pump that fits my model car, or the engine make? Or did I answer my own question? I know little about my car sadly

So far I know this. From random threads I've found on Google, I read that 92-96 had the SI Vtec model option, and 97-01 only had h22; so I'm assuming I should stick to my year range then. There's two different pumps I was looking at on eBay. Some for 97-01, some for 92-96. Do all the pumps work for the f22's, h23's, and h22's in 92-96?

I've searched for 2.2L, but they don't say if they include Vtec, but they do say L4 2.2L 2156CC.

I apologize if this is a question I should be able to answer myself. I don't have any friends I can ask first. Thank you in advance.

I get flustered when I read so many random things :/

Your flustered because you don't know where to look or at least sit there and think about it.

I would have fixed all your problems by buying an OEM Honda fuel pump from any online honda parts website. That way you get what you're supposed to get and it's oem. Can't afford it? Go to autozone. While you were shopping on the honda parts website you could have compared part numbers of all the different trims/models to see if there was a difference.

According to all the Honda wholesale websites, the H23 (Si) and the H22 (VTEC) use the same fuel pump. Also, it costs about $300 for OEM.

^man i forgot how much they were (I bought one before)

Why did I buy one? Well because the autozone one failed one year after installation and stranded me. So yeah, oem runs strong to this day (I think).

Ok, that's what I was looking for in the first place, thank you. I usually stick to OEM as much as possible, but I've been having to throw so much money at this car that going cheap is my temporary solution for the time being. Sucks when money is short.
